Support for you

We understand there will be many differences that you come across, which in the first few weeks may be overwhelming.  We have established a network of Ambassadors to help you navigate these changes.  Our ambassadors are internationally educated health professionals who have previously joined us from overseas.  They too have had to adapt and are well equipped to help you through these first few weeks and answer any questions you may have.

We are proud to have a diverse workforce! To amplify and hear the voices of our workforce, it is vital that we support the inclusive and effective channels of communication and learning. One way we do this is through our staff networks.

What do the staff networks do?

Celebrate! 

They celebrate difference and share stories of our staff. They promote awareness of local and national events, including Pride, Black History Month, Disability History Month etc. 

Inspire! 

They provide advice for network members, offer individual and peer group support, empower staff through educating their knowledge of local, regional and national issues through a safe learning environment and they provide access to other members who build each other’s confidence and inspire each other.

Transform the organisation! 

The networks play a large part in shaping and directing the conversation around diversity and inclusion issues, experienced by our workforce. They provide a channel for communication between senior management and staff groups who have traditionally been underrepresented or who have experienced discrimination within the workplace. 

All staff can join the networks and join as many as they choose. Staff can be involved as much or as little as they want to be.
